1. Health Services
Our resident undergrads are automatically enrolled to receive Student Health Services (full-time undergrads who don’t live on campus can opt-in). You can make an appointment to use our health clinic for treatment of minor illnesses and injuries, women’s and men’s health needs, and certain lab tests.
2. Counseling Services
Our Counseling Center offers short-term individual counseling that is confidential and not part of your academic record. You can use traditional verbal therapy or non-traditional counseling methods, such as expressive therapies, sand tray, and art therapy.
3. Shuttle
Our campus shuttle loops the 3 campus areas—South Campus (near Harvard Square), Porter (in Porter Square), and Doble (between the 2 squares)—Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 11:00 pm. There's a limited schedule on Saturdays and Sundays.
4. Safety Escorts
Our public safety officers can provide additional protection to our students, faculty, and staff while they walk around campus. The officers can escort any member of the Lesley community upon request (pending availability of a Public Safety officer). Call 617.349.8888 to arrange for an escort to meet you and escort you to your destination within campus boundaries.
5. Free Tutoring
At our Center for Academic Achievement, we offer peer tutoring to undergraduate and graduate students taking classes in degree-granting programs. You can focus on projects involving writing, reading comprehension, library research, brainstorming, or time management. Our tutors can work with you one-on-one or in small groups.
6. Services for Students with Disabilities
Disability Support Services works with faculty, staff, and students to ensure that appropriate academic adjustments are made that allow all students an equal opportunity inside the classroom and around campus.
7. Student Jobs on Campus
There are 2 types of student employment: Federal Work-Study and the Lesley Works Program. The federal government pays a portion of your Federal Work-Study earnings, whereas the university pays your entire earnings through the Lesley Works Program. Find and apply to available jobs for both programs via the Student Employment portal.
8. Career Resource Center
Our Career Resource Center works with undergraduate, graduate, and alumni on career exploration and decision-making, job search strategies, and effective self-promotion. We can help you answer questions about choosing a major, careers related to specific programs, and applying to graduate school. Use our online system, Handshake, to find out about off-campus student jobs.
9. Study Abroad Office
You have many options for studying abroad while studying here. Spend a semester or year at a university abroad in an exchange program or provider program. Or, take a travel-study course in the summer or on January break led by our faculty or an outside organization.
10. International Student Services
Our International Student Services Office plans cultural programs for the 100+ international students on campus, can provide assistance with visa questions, and answer questions about living in the United States. You can contact them at iss@lesley.edu.
