Questions
Does it cost money to see a counselor at the LUCC?

No, our services are included with your tuition and fees.

Are your services confidential?

Yes, our counseling services are confidential. Counselors will explain circumstances in which there are limits to confidentiality, including if there is any danger to your health or safety or the health or safety of others.

How many sessions do I get at the LUCC?

We do not have a specific number of sessions, rather you and your counselor will collaborate on what your needs are and will base the number of sessions on that. Our services are short-term during the dates you are enrolled in classes. If you are interested in longer-term therapy, we can help you with a referral to our mental health partner, Riverside Community Care, or if needed, to another outpatient provider in the community.
