Celebrate Black History Month with our featured speaker, Rep. Park Cannon (D-Georgia). Rep. Cannon is a member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing the 58th district. At 24 years old, Rep. Cannon became the youngest elected Georgia lawmaker and first openly Queer elected official in the United States. Cannon recently made international headlines as she was arrested and faced felony charges for knocking on a closed-door meeting where Gov. Brian Kemp signed HB 202 into law.
