Foundations in EDIJ is a constellation of training programs hosted by the Office of EDIJ at Lesley University that feature core aspects of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Justice. These offerings represent important opportunities for the community to experience learning that builds skillfulness around values and belonging.
This offering of Foundations in EDIJ will support participants to delve into the nuanced dynamics of communication related to the impactful difference between ‘calling in’ and ‘calling out’. This training will invite an opportunity to foster protocols to steward EDIJ conversations with compassion and context. This program empowers individuals with the skills to navigate the art of "calling in" —a private, respectful approach that encourages personal growth and supports the learning journey without ignoring their own needs or allowing uncomfortable statements or behavior to simply hang in the air.
