We officially kick off the semester each fall by hosting a Convocation ceremony for our newest students. The ceremony is open to faculty, staff and returning students. We require all first-year undergrad, transfer and Threshold students to attend. Convocation is optional for first-year graduate students, faculty and staff. If faculty and staff choose to attend, they must register.
Following the ceremony, Convocation attendees are invited to Washburn Cafeteria for lunch. Our faculty will walk students to the cafeteria on the South Campus. Lunch is optional for faculty and staff.
