As of the fall of 2021, all incoming students have a new set of General Education requirements. This new innovative curriculum, unique to Lesley, is organized around 21st-century learning outcomes that prepare students for life and work in a complex, diverse, and rapidly changing globalized world. You can click here to learn more about the curriculum.
Right now, we still call this program “Gen Ed” but that is not very special or descriptive! What do you suggest we name our new curriculum? Use this form to enter your suggestion by March 31!
Our plan is to choose the three names that:
- Capture the new curriculum outcomes.
- Convey the value of the new curriculum.
- Reflect the Lesley mission.
The individual who submitted the winning name will receive a $50 gift card to the Lesley University bookstore and the remaining two individuals will receive $25 gift cards.
Here are some examples of the names of other general education curricula:
- James Madison University: Gen Ed: Engage, Educate, Enlighten
- Stonehill College: Cornerstone Program
- Connecticut College: Connections
- Wheaton College: The Wheaton Curriculum
- Goucher College: Goucher Commons Curriculum
